Bagmati Province Assembly Session Terminated on Cabinet Recommendation

Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has informed the House of Representatives that Prime Minister Balendra Shah is preparing to attend Parliament and respond to lawmakers' questions, following disruptions by opposition parties. The opposition had been demanding the Prime Minister's immediate presence to address contemporary national issues, leading to parliamentary sessions being adjourned. The Speaker stated that the Prime Minister is aware of the ongoing developments and is ready to provide responses.

The Police Headquarters announced that 14 senior Sub-Inspectors (SIs) from the Police Technical Group have been recommended for promotion to the rank of Inspector. The recommendations were made by the promotion committee following its meeting on Wednesday.

Nepal Police has recommended promotions for personnel across multiple ranks, including 13 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP) to Superintendent of Police (SP), four SPs to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), and sixteen Inspectors to DSP. These recommendations were made by the Police Headquarters Promotion Committee Secretariat based on decisions from meetings held on Wednesday.
