The National Examination Board (NEB) is working to publish the Grade 12 examination results within 45 days of the exams concluding, with over half of the answer sheets already checked and data entered into the computer system. Examination Controller Krishna Sharma stated that the board is intensifying result processing to potentially release the results even earlier than the 45-day target. A total of 418,000 students took the Grade 12 examinations.

  • More than 50 percent of the result publication work has been completed, including checking and verifying answer sheets and entering marks into the computer system.
  • Answer sheets are currently being evaluated at 42 centers across the country, with the process starting immediately after the examinations ended.
  • The NEB aims to expedite the publication process, drawing on its recent success in publishing Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results within 29 days.
  • Previously, the publication of SEE and Grade 12 results typically took around three months.
