Kathmandu will host the Himalayan Literature Festival and Writers Workshop (HLF-WWK) 2026 from May 29 to June 5, bringing together over 75 writers, poets, and artists from around the world. The festival, dedicated to Guru Prasad Mainali, will feature Nepal’s first Poetry Film Festival and explore themes of "Ecstasy, Healing, and Creative Writing in the New World Order." Participants from numerous countries will engage in workshops, readings, and discussions.
