Traffic police collect Rs 479,000 in fines within 24 hours

Traffic police in the Kathmandu Valley took action against 1,841 drivers for violating traffic rules in the past 24 hours, collecting Rs 479,501 in fines. Actions were taken for offenses including driving under the influence, ride-sharing violations, running red lights, speeding, lane violations, driving on pavements, unnecessary honking, and violating one-way rules.
