Kathmandu Metropolitan City has launched a program to provide full residential scholarships up to the SEE for children displaced from unauthorized structures and residing at the Kirtipur holding center. This initiative, a tripartite agreement between the Metropolitan City, private school organizations (PABSON and NPABSON), and parents, aims to integrate these children into the education system. While some children have been admitted to Janajagriti Secondary School, concerns have been raised about potential discrimination faced by them in their new schools.
