Buddha Air suspends Nepalgunj–Pokhara direct flights for one month
Buddha Air has temporarily suspended its direct flights between Nepalgunj and Pokhara for one month due to low passenger demand and high operational costs, particularly fuel expenses. The suspension, effective from Tuesday, is also linked to a decline in Indian religious tourists during the “Malmas” period. This halt in service disappoints passengers and tourism entrepreneurs, who will now rely on longer road travel, impacting connectivity to destinations like Bardiya National Park.
