Floods and Landslides Disrupt Major Highways Across Nepal

Major highways across Nepal are severely affected by floods and landslides, leading to traffic obstructions and complete road closures in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. The Mid-Hills Highway in Panchthar district is completely closed, while sections of the Koshi Highway and BP Highway have been made one-way or halted due to risks. Precautionary measures are in place on some routes in Bagmati and Karnali provinces, and the Beni-Jomsom road section in Myagdi has been partially cleared.
