Flood and Landslide Damage in Yangwarak Rural Municipality, Panchthar

Continuous rainfall in Yangwarak Rural Municipality of Panchthar has caused floods and landslides, resulting in significant damage to houses, sheds, roads, suspension bridges, and hydropower projects in Wards 1, 2, and 3. Two houses and three suspension bridges have been washed away, and the Oyam-Chiyabhanjyang section of the Mid-Hilly Highway is completely obstructed. Efforts are underway to clear the highway, and details of the damage are being collected.
