Continuous rainfall in Panchthar has caused landslides and flash floods, displacing four families and endangering 15 other homes in Yangwarak Rural Municipality-1. Traffic has been completely halted due to the destruction of two under-construction road bridges and multiple suspension bridges, impacting key sections of the Mid-Hill Highway. The Mewa Khola, Ingwa Khola, and Arun Kabeli hydropower projects have also suffered significant damage.
