Vishnumaya Bishwakarma Becomes First Dalit Woman MP from Tehrathum

Vishnumaya Bishwakarma, formerly a teacher, has entered politics with the CPN (UML) and become a proportional Member of Parliament from the Dalit women's quota. She has held various positions within the party and its women's association.
