Provincial Assembly member Thakur takes oath of office

Sarita Kumari Thakur of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has taken the oath of office as a Provincial Assembly member. This appointment follows disciplinary action taken by the RPP against Kanchan Bichha, a former Provincial Assembly member who refused to resign from her ministerial post in the government led by the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist). Thakur was officially appointed as per a decision by the Election Commission Nepal.
