RPP’s Thakur sworn in as Madhesh Province Assembly member

Sarita Kumari Thakur of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) took the oath of office and secrecy as a member of the Madhesh Province Assembly. Speaker Ramashish Yadav administered the oath. Thakur was nominated to the position after the RPP recalled Kanchan Bichha, a proportional representation lawmaker, for defying the party’s decision.
