Supreme Court clarifies no plan to review lottery-based case listing system

The Supreme Court has clarified that it has no intention of reviewing or changing the existing lottery-based case listing system used for daily case management. Supreme Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala stated that case listings are managed under the current Case Listing Procedure Directive and there has been no formal discussion about replacing the lottery system. The court issued this clarification in response to media and social media reports suggesting an alternative system was being considered.
