SC denies interim order on Lalibazaar film

The Supreme Court has refused to issue an interim order on a writ petition demanding that the Nepali film Lalibazaar not be released. A division bench upheld the order issued by the High Court, Patan, which had previously denied issuing a similar order. Film producer Max Dipesh Khatri stated that the film contains no scenes or dialogues that could hurt the sentiments or dignity of any community or class.
