Smart Travel Begins as Namaste Pay Launches NFC Metro Card for Cashless Mayur Bus Travel

Digital payment platform Namaste Pay has launched an NFC-based Metro Card service in collaboration with Mayur Transport, enabling cashless bus fare payments on the Machhapokhari–Dhulikhel route. Passengers can use NFC Metro Cards to pay fares contactless after downloading the Namaste Pay app and applying for a card. Funds can be loaded onto the card, and conductors will scan it using smart POS machines to deduct fares and issue tickets.
