A new airport-style luggage tagging system will be implemented for long-distance public buses departing from the Kathmandu Valley starting May 29. The system, a result of an agreement between the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office and the National Federation of Transport Entrepreneurs, aims to enhance baggage security, prevent loss or mix-ups, and improve organization. Passengers will receive matching tag numbers to their luggage, with verification required at the destination.
