A meeting of the House of Representatives resumed on Thursday after being suspended for nearly two hours due to obstruction by opposition parties. Lawmakers continued protesting, demanding the presence of Prime Minister Balen Shah and chanting slogans. Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal proceeded with parliamentary business despite the disruption. The Speaker had previously met with the Prime Minister after initial obstructions.
