Opposition parties obstruct House proceedings, Demand PM's resignation during policy and programme debate

Opposition parties obstructed the House of Representatives meeting during the debate on the government's policies and programs. The obstruction occurred when the Speaker allowed the Finance Minister to respond to questions in place of the absent Prime Minister. Opposition lawmakers chanted slogans, demanding the Prime Minister's resignation, and an earlier ruling by the Speaker regarding remarks made by a CPN (UML) leader had already created a tense atmosphere.
