Power supply disrupted in some parts of three districts

Power supply was disrupted in Tanahun, Gorkha, and parts of Chitwan districts due to a technical issue in a 12 MVA power transformer at the Nepal Electricity Authority's substation in Markichowk, Aanbukhairani Rural Municipality. An excessive current flow caused by technical issues in the transformer's earthing system led to the disruption. A technical team is working to resume power supply through an alternative grid.
