The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has recommended a fresh investigation into the role of Judicial Inquiry Commission Chairperson Gauri Bahadur Karki regarding events of Bhadra 23–24. The NHRC stated that Karki’s actions, statements, and possible influence during the incidents should be examined for their contribution to public unrest or incitement. The commission urged the government to conduct a detailed probe into whether his conduct, including social media remarks, may have provoked protesters or affected public order.
