Office of the Auditor General's 63rd Report Shows Worsening Financial Irregularities and Arrears

The 63rd annual report from the Office of the Auditor General indicates a worsening situation of financial irregularities and arrears in Nepal. Arrears of Rs 88.90 billion were established in the fiscal year 2081/82 across federal, provincial, and local government levels, as well as other organizations. Including previous arrears, the total updated arrears have reached Rs 755.17 billion, highlighting a lack of discipline in managing government finances.
