Experts emphasize on prudent use of AI in higher education

Experts from SAARC countries have called for the wise use of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education and urged governments to formulate policies to prevent its misuse. The call was made during a policy dialogue organized by Tribhuvan University with support from the Asian Development Bank and UNESCO. Vice Chancellor Prof Sushil Bahadur Bajracharya emphasized making higher education qualitative and effective through AI, while China's Ambassador Chang Miaoming highlighted increased investment in AI research. The International Institute for Online Education (IIOE) Nepal was also launched during the event.
