Incessant rainfall has triggered floods and landslides in wards 1 and 2 of Yangwarak Rural Municipality in Panchthar district, causing extensive damage. The Dobhane Stream and Tamor River overflowed, damaging roads, bridges, culverts, and houses. The under-construction Limbuni motorable bridge and a hydropower project on the Dobhane Stream were also affected, while landslides swept away two houses in Lamwakhola Dhad.
