ACAP Begins High-Tech Drone Patrols to Monitor Illegal Activities in Remote Himalayan Regions

The National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) has deployed drone technology to combat wildlife poaching and monitor illegal activities in Nepal's Himalayan region. The Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) initiated drone patrols in April to enhance surveillance in remote and difficult terrains, improving the ability to cover remote locations quickly and collect photographic evidence for legal action.
