Weather Forecast: Extreme Heat in Tarai, Thunderstorms in Hills

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology forecasts extreme heat in the Terai regions of Sudurpashchim and Lumbini provinces, with temperatures reaching up to 40-42 degrees Celsius in Dhangadhi. Simultaneously, hilly and mountainous areas, including the Kathmandu Valley, are expected to experience thunderstorms and lightning.
