Government to Allocate Minimum 1% of Capital Expenditure to Innovation

The government has decided to allocate at least one percent of its capital expenditure to innovation, as announced by Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle in the budget statement for fiscal year 2083/84. This provision aligns with the continuous demand from Member of Parliament Mahabir Pun, who was instrumental in the creation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
