Kenya High Court Halts US Ebola Quarantine Plan

Kenya's High Court has issued a temporary order halting the US plan to quarantine American citizens suspected of Ebola infection within Kenya. High Court Judge Patricia Nyaundi ruled that the plan cannot be implemented until the case is fully heard, also prohibiting entry for individuals affected or infected by Ebola during this period. The decision came after the Kenyan rights organization Katiba Institute filed a petition challenging the plan, which they described as a violation of constitutional rights.
