PMC starts removing illegal structures in Prithvichowk area

Pokhara Metropolitan City demolished various structures in front of 'Hong Kong Bazaar' at Prithvichowk, including facilities used by Sahara Club Pokhara, Community Police Service, GEFONT Gandaki, Nepal Trade Union Congress, and Himali Cultural Family. The demolition occurred after the deadline to vacate public and government land expired, following a public notice issued by the Pokhara Metropolitan City Office and the Pokhara Valley Town Development Committee. Demolition of illegal structures along the Firkekhola corridor is also ongoing, with a total of 160 structures planned for removal.
