Notice Issued to Remove Encroachments in Bus Park Area of Pokhara

The Pokhara Valley Municipal Development Committee has issued a public notice demanding the removal of constructions, including shops, in the Pokhara Bus Park area within 15 days. If not cleared, the committee will remove the structures and recover costs. Landowners are required to present documents within seven days. The Pokhara Metropolis had previously issued a similar notice for encroachments near Prithvi Chowk. Approximately 205 ropanis of land acquired in 2031/32 BS for the bus park is now largely encroached upon, with only about 60 ropanis remaining for the public entity.
