Action has been recommended against 10 police personnel, ranging from Superintendent of Police to constable, in connection with the death of a detainee in the custody cell of the Area Police Office in Khurkot, Sindhuli. An investigation committee led by Deputy Inspector General Dinesh Kumar Acharya made the recommendation for disciplinary action against those involved in the death of 23-year-old Shree Krishna BK. The committee also suggested prioritizing the safety of individuals in custody and ensuring the full implementation of the Custody Management Directive, 2024.
