Over 250 mountaineers and guides have successfully summited Mt. Everest within a week of the climbing route opening, with favorable weather conditions potentially leading to a record number of ascents this spring season. Recent ascents include Kami Rita Sherpa's record 32nd summit and Pasang Dawa Sherpa's 30th ascent, making him the second-highest summiter.
