Jomsom–Kagbeni road upgrade begins

The Beni–Jomsom–Korala Road Project has begun upgrading the nine-kilometer Jomsom–Kagbeni road section at a cost of approximately Rs 70 million. This upgrade is necessary due to partial structural damage caused by rain, landslides, and lack of protective infrastructure. The contract for the upgrade was awarded to Kalimata–Thapakaji–Rasuwa JV Construction and is expected to be completed within four months.
