Madhesh Province Weakest in Audit Irregularities, Bagmati Province Strongest

In the fiscal year 2081/082, Madhesh Province exhibited the highest percentage of audit irregularities, while Bagmati Province showed the lowest. According to the Office of the Auditor General's annual report, Bagmati Province's government offices, organizations, and committees had an audit irregularity percentage of 0.83%, whereas Madhesh Province's was 3.77%. Other provinces also reported varying percentages of audit irregularities, with Koshi at 1.12%, Gandaki at 1.44%, Lumbini at 1.27%, Karnali at 2.08%, and Sudurpashchim at 1.53%.
