Use of AI to identify tuberculosis patients at Shuklaphanta

Shuklaphanta Municipality has launched tuberculosis identification using a portable X-ray machine powered by AI technology. Health camps were organized in wards 1, 5, and 8 to identify and treat patients. A total of 688 individuals were tested, with 42 showing suspicious results forwarded to Mahakali Provincial Hospital for further screening. The AI-equipped X-rays aid in detecting potential tuberculosis patients more effectively, even without sputum testing.
