The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has unanimously approved the nomination of Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma for the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nepal. Complaints filed against the nominee were reviewed and will be forwarded to the Constitutional Council of Nepal for archival. Dr. Sharma's nomination, recommended by the Constitutional Council on Baisakh 24, will now proceed to the President for final confirmation.
