APF personnel summit Mount Everest

Assistant Sub-Inspector Nimdikki Sherpa and Assistant Head Constable Anita Karki of the Armed Police Force Nepal successfully summited Mount Everest. Karki reached the summit first, followed by Sherpa, marking the first Everest ascent by female personnel from the force. Both had undergone training in mountain rescue and high-altitude operations, and their achievement is expected to inspire greater participation of women within the organization.
