Government begins issuing driving license in 24 hours
The government has implemented a system to issue driving licenses within 24 hours of applicants passing their trial, starting from Baisakh 04, 2083. Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Bikram Timilsina announced the system, which aims to end delays in license distribution and deliver them to applicants' doorsteps. The Security Printing Center is currently printing about 40,000 licenses daily, and this initiative reflects the government's promise of faster public service delivery and good governance.
