Cloudy Skies in Hills, Heat Wave Threat Persists in Tarai
Nepal's weather is influenced by westerly and local winds and a low-pressure system, with cloudy conditions forecast for Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Light to moderate rainfall with thunder, lightning, and gusty winds is expected in parts of these provinces and some Tarai areas. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology warns of rising temperatures, with hot day conditions likely in Sudurpashchim and Lumbini's hilly regions and heat wave conditions in the Tarai belt. Strong winds are also possible in Madhesh and Koshi provinces' Tarai regions.
