Natural Gas Reserves Confirmed in Dailekh, Project Stalled

Natural gas reserves have been confirmed underground in the Jajale area of Bhairavi Rural Municipality-1, Dailekh, with an estimated 80.70 billion cubic meters sufficient for Nepal for 50-60 years. However, the project is stalled due to a lack of a concrete work schedule from the Chinese side for the second phase. Local representatives are demanding the government expedite excavation work.
