Tundikhel Greening Project Continues

Part of: Security Deployed to Bajura-Humla Border Amidst Clash Over Land Dispute

The Tundikhel Greening Project is underway in Kathmandu, aiming to develop the area into a green and organized public space. Kathmandu Metropolitan City plans to level the ground, plant Bermuda grass, and implement water management systems, including rainwater harvesting. The project, estimated to cost around 42.5 million rupees, is targeted for completion by the end of Poush 2083. No permanent structures will be built, and the space will be open for public use.
