2,029 motorists penalized in 24-hour traffic crackdown in Kathmandu

A total of 2,029 motorists were penalized for traffic rule violations in the past 24 hours, collecting Rs 4.17 lakh for the state treasury. The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office reported actions against drivers for drunk driving, unauthorized ride-sharing, traffic signal violations, speeding, lane discipline violations, honking in prohibited areas, illegal roadside parking, and driving on one-way roads.
