Japanese Embassy Holds Ceremony for Emergency Rehabilitation of Sindhuli Road Affected by Floods

The Embassy of Japan held a groundbreaking ceremony for the emergency rehabilitation of Sindhuli Road, which was affected by floods on May 25. This work commences following grant assistance of JPY 2.8 billion signed in October 2025. The event was attended by Gopal Prasad Sigdel, Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, and Ambassador Maeda Toru. This year marks the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Nepal.
