Medical equipment worth over 44 crore rupees is reportedly unused in various government hospitals, according to the 63rd annual report by the Office of the Auditor General. The report highlights that a Cath Lab machine at the National Trauma Center has been idle since 2072 due to a lack of skilled personnel, and other expensive equipment like CT scan systems and ventilators are also disused.
