Narayan-Butwal Road Expansion Nears Completion

The expansion work on the Narayan-Ghat-Butwal section of the East-West Highway is nearing completion, with 91 percent physical progress achieved. Director General of the Department of Roads, Dr. Vijay Jesi, stated that most major construction is finished, with only finishing touches, traffic safety measures, and auxiliary structures remaining. The project aims to be substantially completed by Jestha 15th, addressing long-standing traffic issues, particularly in the Daunne area. Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal also conducted an on-site inspection, where construction entrepreneurs requested facilitation for bitumen imports.
