Minister for Infrastructure Development Sunil Lamsal stated the government is prepared to resolve problems within the construction sector, including financial pressures, price hikes, and payment delays, through legal and policy reforms. Meanwhile, Sur Krishna Vaidya was elected Senior Vice Chair of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), with Manishlal Pradhan elected Treasurer.

Minister Lamsal stated that the government is actively studying solutions for price adjustments and deadline extensions, potentially through legal and policy reforms, to support construction entrepreneurs. The Infrastructure Development Committee has also directed the government to swiftly remove obstacles and address extreme price hikes impacting development projects.

The Department of Transport Management in Nepal has suspended the new registration of all public vehicles, including electric ones, until further notice. This decision stems from worsening traffic congestion, rising air pollution, and increasing pressure on roads, as stated by department director Mani Ram Bhusal. The move aims to address operational challenges and implement scientific public transportation management.
