Man's Eye Socket Found With 12cm Maple Branch Fragment

A 50-year-old man in Russia, Yuri, had a 12-centimeter branch fragment successfully removed from his eye socket via surgery through the nose. The fragment had been lodged in his eye since 2024 after he was trimming a tree branch without protective eyewear. Doctors were able to save his vision and he is expected to make a full recovery.
