Western Nepal reels from scorching heat wave

Western Nepal is experiencing a severe heat wave, with temperatures consistently exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has warned of moderate heat wave conditions in the Tarai belt of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces for the next three days, with adjacent hilly regions experiencing hot day conditions. Residents in affected areas, particularly in six high-alert districts, are urged to take precautionary measures as daily life has been severely disrupted.
