Traffic Police Fines 2,453 Drivers in Kathmandu Valley in 24 Hours

The traffic police penalized 2,453 drivers in the Kathmandu Valley within a 24-hour period, collecting Rs 1.151 million in revenue. Penalties were issued for various violations including drunk-driving, ride-sharing, red light running, speeding, lane violations, obstructing sidewalks, and honking in no-horn zones. The Valley Traffic Police Office urged citizens to report any suspected drunk drivers.
