Tea exports easing up, says Industry Minister

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari stated that progress is being made to resolve issues concerning tea exports to India, with discussions held through the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi. Efforts are also underway to facilitate tea exports to other countries via India. The Minister also mentioned that the Department of Customs is responsible for maintaining maximum retail prices of consumer goods and that industries in the Lumbini area are being relocated as per a Supreme Court order.
