The Supreme Court has ordered the release of former Minister Rajkumar Gupta on a Rs 5 million bail in a bribery case. Gupta was in judicial custody after the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority filed a case against him for allegedly accepting bribes while he was Minister of General Administration. Separately, the apex court has requested a written response within 24 hours regarding the arrest of medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai.
